Mondo’s ultra-cool “Space Seed” poster sold out in about 60 minutes, and now Alamo Drafthouse’s collectible art boutique is back with the next posters in their Star Trek series. “The Trouble with Tribbles: Spock” and “The Trouble with Tribbles: Uhura” are colorful, light-hearted movie-style posters that feature the original Star Trek’s familiar characters as they’re steadily overtaken by those pesky, ever-hungry fur balls called Tribbles.
Created by Olly Moss and set to go on sale on Friday, the posters measure 18”x24,” are hand numbered and printed by D&L Screen Printing. “Spock” will be available in a limited edition of 350 and “Uhura” will be an even tougher “get,” available in a limited edition of only 190.
